Part 1 — Website disclaimer

General information only

All content on this website, including every article, guide, framework, example and calculation, is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, insurance advice, tax advice, or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, surrender, switch, or replace any financial product.

Nothing on this site takes into account your particular objectives, financial situation, or needs. Any recommendation properly made to you would follow a full fact-find and a documented advisory process. Please do not act on anything here without first obtaining advice appropriate to your own circumstances.

No offer or solicitation

Nothing on this website is an offer, invitation, or solicitation to buy or subscribe for any financial product, or to enter into any transaction. Product availability, features, and eligibility are determined by the relevant product providers and may change without notice.

Investment and insurance risk

  • Investments carry risk, including the possible loss of the principal amount invested. The value of investments and the income from them can fall as well as rise.
  • Past performance is not indicative of future performance. Projected or illustrated returns are not guaranteed and may not be achieved.
  • Where a policy illustration shows guaranteed and non-guaranteed components, only the guaranteed component is contractual. Non-guaranteed bonuses depend on the performance of the insurer's participating fund and the insurer's own decisions.
  • Buying a life insurance product is a long-term commitment. Early termination usually involves high costs and the surrender value, if any, may be less than the total premiums paid.
  • Cover is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, waiting periods, and definitions set out in the policy contract issued by the insurer. In the event of any inconsistency between this website and a policy contract, the policy contract prevails.

Accuracy and currency of information

Content is prepared in good faith and believed accurate at the date of publication or last update shown on each page. However, regulations, tax treatment, contribution caps, retirement sums, premium tables, benefit limits, and product terms in Singapore are set by the relevant authorities and providers and change from time to time.

Always verify current figures at source. For CPF matters, refer to cpf.gov.sg. For tax matters, refer to iras.gov.sg. For healthcare financing, refer to moh.gov.sg. For product details, refer to the product summary, benefit illustration, and policy contract issued by the insurer. Figures quoted on this site should be treated as illustrative of a method, not as current authoritative values.

No warranty, express or implied, is given as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the information on this site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from reliance on it.

Illustrative examples

Worked examples and figures used in articles are illustrative and chosen to demonstrate a method of calculation. They are not projections, forecasts, or representations of any actual or expected outcome, and they do not describe any actual client.

Case studies and client references

Where client situations are described anywhere on this site, they are anonymised, with names and identifying details removed or altered. They are not testimonials, are not representative of typical results, and do not guarantee any outcome. Individual circumstances and results vary.
